Egypt is a visa national. UK Student Visa requires CAS, IELTS, proof of funds. Processing: 4–8 weeks from Cairo.
You will need to: create a UKVCAS account, complete the online form, pay the visa fee (£558 as of April 2026), and pay the NHS Health Surcharge (£776/year for students).
You will attend a VFS Global or UKVCAS centre to provide your fingerprints and photo. After this, your application is sent to UK Visas and Immigration for processing — typically 3–8 weeks.
Grade Excellent (90%+) or Very Good (80%+) from Egyptian university — equivalent to UK First or Upper Second.
